Position Title: Jr./Sr. and Research Scientist

Level: E1/E2/E3/E4

Position Purpose:

• The position will be responsible for the development of assigned project within given timeframe as per safety and Environmental rules. 

• This include thorough literature survey, bench scale trials, preparation of SOPs, necessary documentations.

•  This would also include Demo Of development chemical process to PD team, Support in KL, pilot plan and commercial plant for successful technology transfer. 

Strategic Responsibilities: 

• To understand the object of project/chemistry/MSDS

• Inputs in planning of experiments/ man power/ glassware/ raw materials / analysis

• To ensure of proper maintains of lab equipment's.

• Proper house keeping and use of PPE's.

• Use relevant MSDS for sale handling and disposal of toxic chemicals.

Operational Responsibilities:

• Bench Scale experiments as per planning.

• Identification of critical parameters.

• Coordination with QC for analytical support/development.

• prepare sample as per required quality.

• Optimization of process w.r.t identify critical parameters.

• Impurities characterization and synthesis.

• Understanding of parameters responsibilities for impurities.

• To guide subordinate of execution of experiments.

• Prepare process write up.

• Data entry in SAP.

• Experimental observation and data compilations.

• Maintain ISO documents.

• Preparation of daily report/ BFD of process/ Man-hours utilization/ FH occupancy.

• Demo batch to PD

• To check quality plane/ plant SOP

• Use teat of RM

• Support to kilo lab/ pilot plant/ manufacturing during technology transfer.

• Trouble during scale up

• Data compilation and time to time update of KL/ PP plant trials

Financial Responsibilities:

• Contribute to budget proposal

• Contribute to budgetary controls within the area of responsibility.

People Responsibilities:

• Utilization of all available source for skill up gradation

•  Actively preparation in problems solving sessions/ training programs

• To guide subordinates

Education Qualification:

• Masters/ Doctorate in organic chemistry from a reputed university/ institute

Work Experienced:

• 0-8 Industrial experience

Industry to be hired from:

• Agro chemicals/ fine chemicals/ pharma API/ Specialty chemicals.

Functional Competencies:

• Analytical skill

• Route Scouting

• Literature search

• Data management

• Lab experience

• Strong technical knowledge to guidance to team members/ junior

• Relevant experience in technical knowledge as per the role requirement.

Interaction Complexity and Team Work with group leaders, team leaders, tech transfer team and team in pilot and kilo lab.
