RCI-DRDO Announced Research Fellowship in CHEMISTRY

        DRDO acquired approximately 2100 acre of land in 1970's for the purpose of Anti Tank Missile Testing. Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam the then Director of DRDL persuaded Govt of Andhra Pradesh to give the land for setting up RCI. The area occupied by RCI has been named as Vignyana Kancha. On 5th Aug 1985, Former prime Minister Late shri Rajib Gandhi laid the foundation stone for the establishment. Former President of India Shri R. Venkatraman inaugurated the laboratory on 27th Aug 1988. RCI, a premier R&D organization in the country with an objective of developing frontier technologies foe Defence applications.

Application are invited from young, meritorious and motivated candidates of Indian Nationals, who are having inclined towards research. Selected candidates will be assigned to work on any of the following areas concerned with the aerospace system.

• Design of analogs & digital circuits, modeling and simulation. 

• Development of microwave, Rader, Infra imagining systems.

•  Development of electrical & mechanical systems.

•  Design &  development of thermal batteries and power supply system.

•  Real time software development for embedded applications.

Educational Qualification(s): 

                First class M.Sc degree in Chemistry with a NET/GATE/SLET

Job title:  Junior Research Fellowship

Last Date: Before 5:00 PM of 24th March 2021

Age:      As on 31st March 2021 is 28 years for general candidates, Relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates as per govt. rules.

Selection Procedure:   After scrutinizing the marks, percentage and score, short-listed candidates shall be called for written test/Interview. If test is conducted, the short-listed candidates in the test shall only be called for interview.
